Sir Keir Starmer Confirms Jeremy Corbyns Departure from Labour Party After Failing to Condemn Hamas

Sir Keir Starmer Takes a Stand

Sir Keir Starmer, the leader of the Labour Party, has made it clear that Jeremy Corbyn's time as a Labour MP is over. This comes after Corbyn refused to label Hamas as a terrorist organization during an interview.

Avoiding the Question

Jeremy Corbyn, known for his criticism of Israel, dodged the question when asked about Hamas on TalkTV's Piers Morgan Uncensored show. His refusal to condemn the group has caused controversy within the party.

The End of an Era

In a podcast interview, Sir Keir Starmer stated, "He won't stand as a Labour MP at the next election or any election. His days as a Labour MP are over. We have a changed party." Despite losing the party whip in 2020, Corbyn remains a party member, although he now sits as an Independent MP.

No Place for Corbyn

Starmer emphasized the importance of Corbyn's departure, saying, "It reaffirmed in me why it is so important to me and to this changed Labour Party that Jeremy Corbyn does not sit as a Labour MP and will not be a candidate at the next election for the Labour Party." The Labour leader remains undaunted by the prospect of entering Number 10.

Putting Service First

Starmer made it clear that his focus is on serving the public, stating, "This for me is about service not entitlement... my only concern is about my family."
