Right-Wing Tory MPs Unveil Manifesto Demands ahead of Election

Cutting Taxes, Slashing Immigration, and Exiting European Court of Human Rights on New Conservatives' Wish-List

A faction of right-wing Tory MPs, known as the New Conservatives caucus of 2019ers, has put forth a list of demands for Chancellor Rishi Sunak ahead of the election. Their manifesto includes calls to cut taxes, slash immigration, and quit the European Court of Human Rights.

Tory MPs Railing against Soaring Migration

One of the key points in the New Conservatives' wishlist is addressing the issue of immigration. Tory MP Tom Hunt argues that people should not be labeled as xenophobic for simply expressing a desire not to feel like they are living in a foreign country when going to their town centre.

Tory Rebels Challenging Tax Rises

Former party chairman Jake Berry has vowed to vote against any further tax increases. He believes that Tory bosses would not dare to expel potential rebels, as it would jeopardize their majority.

Prominent Figures Support the Manifesto

Several well-known figures within the Conservative Party, including former Cabinet Ministers Dame Priti Patel, Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg, and Sir John Redwood, have made speeches in support of the New Conservatives' demands.

Criticism of Current Government's Performance

Tory MP and co-founder of the New Conservatives, Miriam Cates, expresses disappointment in the current government's handling of Brexit. She believes that the original intent of the 2019 election - to take back control of the country - has not been fully realized. Cates also cites rising taxes, unsustainable levels of immigration, and concerns about the quality of education as evidence of a deep-seated frustration among the public.

While these demands may reflect the sentiments of a specific faction within the Conservative Party, their emphasis on issues such as immigration and tax cuts could resonate with voters as the election approaches.
