A protester caused chaos at the Labour conference today when they leaped onto the stage and threw glitter at party leader Sir Keir Starmer. Security swiftly intervened and removed the individual from the hall.

Gasps and Glitter

The incident occurred just moments after Sir Keir began his speech, sending gasps throughout the Liverpool hall. While he carried on without a blazer, his shirt remained covered in flecks of glitter.

Defiant Response

Despite the disruption, Sir Keir remained unfazed. He declared, "Protest or power, this is why we changed our party." He also brushed off the incident, stating, "If he thinks that bothers me, he doesn't know me."
