David Cameron meets Ukraines president Zelensky on first official visit as foreign secretary

Former British Prime Minister David Cameron has made his first overseas trip as Foreign Secretary, visiting Ukraine. The visit comes after Cameron was granted a peerage by King Charles, allowing him to take on the role. Cameron, who replaced James Cleverly as Foreign Secretary, met with Ukraine's president Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss topics such as frontline weapons, air defense, and infrastructure protection. Zelensky expressed gratitude to the UK for its support. Cameron, who retired as one of the youngest ex-PMs in history, has previously mentioned feeling bored and hinted at a desire for a role in government. His wealth of experience will be valuable as he takes on this new position.
