Manchester City has received a boost of confidence from a supercomputer's prediction, which tips them to retain the Champions League trophy. The draw for the last 16 landed City a dream matchup against Copenhagen, while rivals Arsenal will face Porto.
Supercomputer Analysis
OLBG's supercomputer compiled data from all the group stage results and ran its algorithm to predict the outcome of the Champions League. According to the analysis, Manchester City has a massive 49% chance of winning it all. Bayern Munich, with star striker Harry Kane in top form, comes in second with an 18% chance. Real Madrid is placed third with 14%, and Arsenal is fourth with a 9% chance, even surpassing PSG.
Arsenal's Unfamiliar Territory
Arsenal's current squad finds themselves in unfamiliar territory despite the club's history of success in the last 16 under former manager Arsene Wenger. The Gunners last competed in the last 16 in 2017, but they have failed to progress beyond that stage since 2010.
City's Bid for Back-to-Back Titles
Manchester City has been a trailblazer in recent Champions League seasons, making it to two of the last three finals. They are aiming to become the first English side since Nottingham Forest in 1979 and 1980 to win the title in back-to-back seasons. Their last failure to progress past the round of 16 was in the 2016/17 season, which was Pep Guardiola's first season in charge.

Other Exciting Matchups
The Champions League last 16 draw has also unveiled other exciting matchups. Former Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham will be returning to Germany to face RB Leipzig with Real Madrid. Bayern Munich, along with Harry Kane, will be up against Lazio in their own tie. Additionally, there is a tantalizing matchup between last season's Serie A and La Liga winners, Napoli and Barcelona.
