No New Stadium for Man Utd
Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the British billionaire set to take control of Manchester United, has decided against building a new stadium to replace Old Trafford, according to the Daily Mail.
Investing in Infrastructure
Ratcliffe plans to invest £245million in improving the club's infrastructure, with £150million to £200million dedicated to developing United's Carrington training ground. The base, which houses the club's academy and women's teams, will undergo modernization.
Decay at Old Trafford
Old Trafford, the 113-year-old stadium, has been showing signs of decay, with a leaking roof causing concern among supporters. The stadium was last renovated in 2006, increasing its capacity by 8,000 seats.
