Jude Bellingham Names Three Players Who Could Win Next Golden Boy Award

Jude Bellingham, the recent winner of the Golden Boy award, has revealed three players he believes could win the prestigious accolade next year. The midfielder, who became the third Englishman to win the award, has identified Arda Güler, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, and his younger brother Jobe as potential winners for 2024.

Real Madrid's Arda Güler

Jude Bellingham praised Arda Güler, a fellow Real Madrid player, as a "phenomenon" and expressed his delight with the youngster's progress in training. Güler joined Real Madrid in the summer and has attracted attention from several clubs, but injuries have hindered his debut for the Spanish giants.

Borussia Dortmund's Jamie Bynoe-Gittens

Bellingham also mentioned his former teammate Jamie Bynoe-Gittens, who currently plays for Borussia Dortmund. The winger, formerly of Manchester City, has made a strong impact this season with two goals and three assists in nine appearances. Bynoe-Gittens has also represented England at the under-21 level.

Jude Bellingham's Brother Jobe

Bellingham's younger brother, Jobe, was also named as a potential Golden Boy award winner. The 18-year-old midfielder left Birmingham to join Sunderland in the summer and has already made an impact, scoring three goals for the Black Cats. However, Jobe will need to either win promotion with Sunderland or join a top-flight club to be eligible for the award.

The Golden Boy award is given to the best under-21 player in Europe playing in a top-flight European league. Bellingham himself won the award after a successful season with Real Madrid, where he scored 15 goals since his £115 million move.
