Mark de Mori, who faced David Haye in 2016, admits that sparring with Tyson Fury made him realize he will never achieve world champion status.
Back in the Ring
After being knocked out by David Haye in the first round, de Mori has since won 11 consecutive matches and is set to face Filip Hrgovic on Saturday night.
No Title Shot
De Mori acknowledges that even if he defeats Hrgovic, fans wouldn't be clamoring to see him fight the winner of Fury-Usyk for the IBF belt.
De Mori stated, "Honestly, I don't think that, if I caught Hrgovic, that anyone would want to see me fight the winner of Fury-Usyk. That's just being realistic and that is fine, so we would probably do a rematch."

A Harsh Reality
During his sparring session with Tyson Fury, de Mori struggled to land a punch and came to the conclusion that he would never become a world champion.
Reflecting on the experience, de Mori said, "I sparred Fury once and it was during those rounds that I realized that I'd never become a world champion, that's how much trouble I had landing a punch on him."
Light-hearted Approach
Despite the unlikely chance of winning a title, de Mori is approaching his upcoming fight with Hrgovic with a carefree attitude, stating, "It's all good fun, there are no expectations on me or my career anymore, so I will walk in there with no weight on my shoulders."
